By using https://ferngrovewire.world or booking an advertising placement with Ferngrove Wire, you agree to these terms of use.

3. Description of the service

Ferngrove Wire publishes local news and a podcast for Calgary and southern Alberta and sells three advertising formats: the Community Dispatch Listing ($140 CAD, 30 days), the Partner Explainer Dispatch ($720 CAD, one article), and the Quarterly Audio Series Sponsorship ($1,340 CAD, three episodes). 4. Eligibility & obligations

You must have the authority to place an advertisement on behalf of the business or organization named, and to provide accurate, lawful materials (logos, copy, audio references) for use in the placement.

5. Bookings, orders & payments

Bookings are confirmed once we acknowledge your enquiry in writing and you accept the price and schedule. Payment is due before a placement goes live unless agreed otherwise. 6. Intellectual property

The Ferngrove Wire name, logo and site content are owned by NU Media Edge Inc. or licensed to it. Materials you supply for a placement remain your property; you grant us a licence to use them for the agreed run of your placement.

7. Acceptable use

You may not submit advertising materials that are unlawful, misleading, or infringe the rights of others. We may decline or withdraw a placement that breaches this clause.

8. Disclaimer

General information. Site content is provided by NU Media Edge Inc. for general informational purposes about our publication and advertising services.

Not professional advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for individual advice about your own advertising or communications needs.

Accuracy & availability. We take reasonable care to keep prices and service descriptions accurate, but services and prices may change, and final scope is confirmed at booking.

Results. We do not guarantee any specific readership, listening or business outcome from a placement; the reports we provide describe what actually happened, not a promised result.

Liability cap. To the extent permitted by law, NU Media Edge Inc.'s liability for any claim relating to the site or a placement does not exceed the amount you paid for that placement.

9. Payment & Refund Policy

Scope. This section covers payments made for advertising placements booked through Ferngrove Wire.

Eligibility. A full refund is available if you cancel before any work has started on your placement. Partial refunds may apply once drafting, scheduling or production has begun, in proportion to work completed.

How to request. Email [email protected] or call +1 403-394-2337, quoting your booking details.

Processing. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-refundable cases. A listing that has already run its full 30 days, an explainer article already published, or audio episodes already released are not eligible for a refund.

10. Returns Policy

How to cancel. Contact us by email or phone within our working days and hours; we will confirm the cancellation in writing.

Returns windows. Cancelling more than 5 business days before a listing goes live, or more than 10 business days before an article is scheduled to publish or an audio series is due to begin recording, qualifies for a full refund. Later cancellations may incur a partial charge for work already completed.

Rescheduling. We will usually offer to reschedule your placement to a later date instead of cancelling outright, at no extra charge.

Returnss by us. If we are unable to deliver a booked placement (for example due to unexpected production capacity issues), we will offer a full refund or rebooking at your choice.

11. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party pages we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
